Meeting Highlights:
We plan to leave the church parking lot by 4:30 pm on Friday. We need three hammocks for the weekend with everyone providing their own tents sleeping arrangments. We only need two stoves, pots, 3 water filters and 3 tarps, washbasins and soap from group stores.
The menu will be sausages and buns, maybe carrots on Friday night.
Saturday meals with be pancakes and bacon for breakfast and real maple syrup. Lunch will be Mr. Noodles and stuff added in. Dinner will be quesadillas. Sunday breakfast will be egg mcmuffins. Ty Fischer is in charge of the food buy.
The rough cost will be $50 per person. Gerry Kelly and Matthew Smith will be driving up.
Sunday will be early departure so that we can store canoes and get the trailer ready to pick up the trebuchet.
Next Tuesday meeting will be a materials run to get the things we need to fix up the Trebuchet. As a group you will need to find time to fix the base.
The Tuesday meeting after thanksgiving we will meet and Joschka McLeod's house to finish repairs and if time allows perhaps move and test fire the trebuchet.
RoVent will be taking place October 17,18,19.
